i've been told by various members of my family that it has been one month since i last posted.
so, here i am
and i have good reason behind by absence on this world wide web space.
it's called a thesis.
technically, it's called a paper in lieu of thesis.
regardless of the title, it has taken over any spare time that i might have (nap time and night time)
as of yesterday, it was sent to our professor for revisions...so it is out of my hands at this point.
meaning i have nothing pressing to write about or to research at this moment.
glory!
also, i have deleted all social media apps on my phone.
it's been approximately 3 weeks since i've been free of instagram or facebook or blogger when i am away from my ipad, which stays at the house.
and i have shown no serious signs of withdrawal.
just a few moments of daydreaming, real-life conversation, blank stares and thinking.
so, what have we been up to in the last month?
besides switching out our coats for shorts every other day?
you know, the daily grind....feeding growing children...which, in and of itself is a full-time job.
they are always hungry.
always.
and...
soaking up the awesome Louisiana winter days
enjoying lunch with her at least once a week
we bought a new (to us) kitchen table
good ole Craigslist find
of course, we are always being entertained by this clown
mostly, i am lavishly soaking in the goodness that is being home with these guys
many more activities, mundane chores, trips, meals and events have comprised the last month.
these are just a few of the moments that were captured on camera.
hopefully, in the next few weeks i will catch up on documenting our life.
in the meantime, i'm going to go read something non research related.
have a splendid Monday
and chin up!

GT has been cleaning up what is left of the barn fire and the building of the new barn
and general property clean up
always with the best little helpers
we are building a deck and are already l.o.v.i.n.g. it, even if it's still not finished
my Mamaw Lou retired!
except i think she still might go into work occasionally...she can't give it up.
i guess after working until you're 83, it's hard to just sit at home.
i just love her and her work ethic, able body and capable mind.
the boys and i selfishly love that she isn't working every dayenjoying lunch with her at least once a week
we've been eating up each minute of Tdubs
as he learns new things and is changing constantly
we bought a new (to us) kitchen table
good ole Craigslist find
and refinished it
