Almost a month ago (whoops) my dad celebrated his 60th!
luckily, it was on a Saturday so we could all (minus Josh :( ) be together for the entire day
If you remember my mom's 60th, it was a big deal and so much fun.
Dad wanted nothing like that and wanted to make sure we knew that he would rather just keep it low key.
So we did.
Not because we wanted to, but because we love him and it was his birthday.
in "Pa's chair", as dubbed by Beau
mom did manage to sneak in some balloons and banners
we started out the morning at our Saturday staple, Cracker Barrel
and found these two cousins rocking the day away
Mamaw Lou cooked a big meal for supper and we had a partay at her house
Beau is thankful for any occasion that brings chocolate cake
one of his gifts was a new rocking chair for their new back porch
trying to get a pic with all 3 grand-boys.......i'm sure we'll see this face again as these 3 grow up together
We love you Pa and are so thankful for each year you have spent on this earth!
We are truly grateful to have such an awesome man leading our family.
I can't wait for Judson to grow up next to you.
I can't wait for you to teach him how to hit a baseball, swing a golf club, drive the tractor, fish and most importantly be a good man.
We couldn't ask for a better "Pa" for our JRay!
